Where in the constitution is the federal government granted authority to regulate health care? Oh that’s right, it doesn’t.
Congratulations you passed nothing, and while you did it you exposed yourselves as criminals, frauds, and corporate sell outs. Our federal government is no longer a representation of the people, or the constitution.
If they choose to ignore constitutional limitations, they’re no longer government officials. They’re criminals, guilty of treason.
Damn this guy is an amazing liar. We will continue to be a friend of Iraq? We basically killed one member of every Iraqi household you fiend. How come no mention of withdrawal progress?
@dogcrapgreen ? Blacks are thieves? what data are you basing that on?who has stolen or killed more people throughout history? not blacks… and keep your gay bashing to you and your” Dad”
Now if we could only get the unemployed to fight in both wars we can stabilize the economy and save money on unemployment benefits. If their dead we won’t have to issue checks each month or be concerned about health care.
I just read an AP article that said the bill that passed in the House is unacceptable to many in the Senate. Oh, God, I knew this was going to be an uphill battle. I anticipated that this would not be an easy bill to pass through the Senate and I was correct. I’m not going to be surprised if there’s a lot of stalling involved in trying to get this bill passed.
1/3 of the population aren’t insurgents. I love how Americans love to exaggerate facts.
Iraq will be a stable within’ 10 years. Seems to me most of the anti-war people are just not knowledgeable enough to take part in any discussion regarding, Afghanistan or Iraq.
I can name over a dozen. One of them is my home country the Netherlands. Everybody gets health care for a reasonable price w/o any substantial co-payments, in and out network BS and so on. My mother pays EUR 150/m for an extended insurance w/ extra dental care, her boyfriend EUR 80 and he has Parkinson and receives unlimited treatment w/o any co-payments, with his DR and hospital visits, meds, physical therapy twice/week.
Far superior. I’m moving to Spain soon. EUR 35/m unlimited care.
Those of you who commented in previous WH videos that the public option and government involvement in healthcare would not increase the tax burden and federal debt– that only people who took advantage of it would pay, you just got pwned.
Also, what the hell are we still doing in Iraq? GTFO time was many months ago for a war based on lies.

By the way I base that on an insurance plan offered by a previous employer.

And why wouldn’t they have it after the whole system gets fixed? It’s like $16 a month for a single person.

Within a year every US citizen will be glad this bill has passed. Even those who opposed it.

I looked it up, apparently the government would only fine people who they deem able to afford health insurance.
So homeless people won’t be fined, but pretty much everybody with a job will be fined if they don’t have health insurance.

@AnduinX
This goes for everyone? people with and without jobs?

From what I understand if you don’t buy health insurance you’ll be forced to pay a fine - if you don’t pay that you could be thrown in jail.

If you can’t see the difference between mandatory health insurance and mandatory car insurance then you’re the idiot.
You need car insurance to drive a car but you have the option of not owning a car so it’s in an entirely different playing field than this.
This makes it a crime to be alive without paying into the system.
